Doublebass for Marloe

Hi everyone! My name is Marloe Kyril H. Maruyama. I play the Double bass. I live here in the Philippines. I put up this fundraising by myself in order to ask for help on having my own double bass. This is my short story: I am an only child. My father is Japanese and my mother is a Filipino, in short my father left us for no reason and went back to japan. We suffered a lot of hardships till now. We are currently staying at a friend's house. I started playing the violin when I was at 15yrs old but my mom was not supportive when it comes to music. I was forces to study Information Technology but ended up stopping due to financial problems. I started learning the bass when I was accepted as a scholar in a El sistema inspired group called Ang Misyon Inc. Which helps underprivileged children by teaching classical music. I was told to learn the double bass since I am big and after 4 months I was appointed as the Principal Bassist of the Orchestra of the Filipino Youth (Main orchestra). After realizing that music was my main thing and my love, my mom let me now apply to a music school, get that scholarship and let me follow my dreams. I passed and everything but the problem is, I dont have my own double bass which is a much needed thing now. I need your help guys in order to finish my dreams.
