Door2Door Transport is Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under Lyme’s local community transport scheme. We help to reduce the isolation of some of our more vulnerable people whether they need to get to a medical appointment, a local ‘nit and natter’ group or just want to go shopping. All our drivers are volunteers who kindly donate their time to support the people in their community.
With 12 dedicated volunteer drivers Door2Door does over 200 journeys and 1200 miles a month for elderly and vulnerable residents.
However, after councillors pulled the plug on funding for a transport lifeline, our Door2Door transport service is losing its grant, meaning elderly and vulnerable people are at risk of being isolated .
Come and support our Door2Door service by donating, and don’t forget, every donation makes a difference.
