THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU... Imagine driving along...in New Hampshire. You get stopped for a minor traffic violation. You are then arrested because there is a loaded handgun in the glove box or the console storage of your personal vehicle. Under our body of law in New Hampshire it is perfectly legal to do so, but you are arrested anyway.
So, if it is legal, why are you being arrested?BECAUSE YOU HAVE A MINOR CHILD IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. That is exactly what happened recently in Manchester. A Young mother, stopped for a traffic violation was arrested and charged with, "endangering the welfare of a child," for no other reason than the handgun being in the glove box.
Many in the Granite State keep handguns in their vehicles...in consoles and glove boxes. Plainly put, one could be arrested for giving a ride to ones' own child...or grandchild if this is the case. Many assert this is not the case. To make matters worse this young woman lost her job due to this arrest. The employer didn't even wait to find out if she was convicted or not. Just fired her.
This campaign is to assist with raising money for her legal defense funding. Please be a part of this by donating modestly $5...$10...$25 or more. This ugly precedent affects ALL OF US citizens who lawfully exercise his or her personal right under the Constitution of this State and the United States.

Let's all work towards you getting reinstated with back pay. We established government to protect our rights. It looks like you got terminated for exercising your Constitutionally protected rights. and your duty to protect your family.

Alycia's case is a dangerous example of police abuse of power. I hope it will not be allowed to stand unpunished; abusers such as the officer who wrongfully arrested her in front of her children do not belong on the force in New Hampshire!

Officer's are to uphold the law, not make it up as they go. This sounds like a case of a big ego getting in the way of proper actions.
