Don’t Forget the Past!

This campaign was created to protect and promote the art and culture of the past in the better future than we all wish. The project includes the rescue from oblivion and destruction of a valuable private collection of antique prints produced between 1800 and 1900 by the oldest manual printing workshop in Florence, making donations to museums and spreading them in the art and antiques market.

This collection consists of over 30.000 hand prints made on antique paper, with seals in relief, in black and colored by hand in watercolors. All the most important authors are present in the collection, the works illustrate every aspect of human life, art and culture from 1500 to 1900.

By virtue of an exclusive agreement with the heirs, we want to purchase the entire collection to spread it in the future with these initiatives:

1 Donate to the Museums that will be indicated by donors 40% of the works.

2 Digitize works by creating a database to edit a complete catalog in electronic and paper version.

3 Launch a marketing activity aimed at the art and antiquities market by offering the works to institutions, galleries, auction houses, art schools, museum merchandising, e-commerce worldwide.
