Campaign Story
For my 40th birthday, don't send me gifts. Instead, help me support two causes close to my heart.
Over the course of my life I've dealt with mental health issues and sexual assault. Friends helped me through the first. I had to work through the second on my own, but I consider myself lucky because, as a man, I need not live in constant fear of being assaulted again.
Not everyone has the kind of friends I had, and not everyone has the privileges and peace of mind that come with being male. I want to help them. So I am doing a fundraiser for SAMH (Singapore Association For Mental Health and AWARE (Association of Women for Action and Research).

I intend to split donations equally between both causes.
Help me reach my goal of 1000 SGD in a week. As this is for my 40th birthday, I will match 40% of donations. So we only need 715 SGD to hit the target. Of course it would be nice we can hit 1000 without matching, then the final amount will be even higher.
