What is the 2041 ClimateForce Antarctic Expedition?
It's a unique 12-day educational journey by ship to ‘the last great wilderness on Earth,’ led by polar explorer and environmentalist Robert Swan, O.B.E., the first person in history to walk to both the North and the South poles, alongside Barney Swan and Jeff Bonaldi, both climate change leaders. The expedition aims to engage and inspire the next generation of leaders to tackle climate change, sustainability and the preservation of Antarctica, and is often featured in global news media such as BBC Earth, New York Times, and more.
I am incredibly excited to have been selected from among many applicants worldwide to be part of a team of 80 potential climate change leaders journeying to Antarctica on the 2041 ClimateForce Antarctic Expedition in March 2022. The international team is composed of citizens from over 30 nations, united in a common mission to become ambassadors for Antarctica, bring easy, convenient solutions to climate change and to educate and inspire others to become ambassadors themselves.
This is an investment in the future of the next generation and an opportunity for us to come together for a common mission.

WHO AM I?
My name is Donna Reynolds and I am a recent Honours in Psychology graduate - after completing my undergrad in Computer Science, Computer Games Development and Psychology - from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. I have always been passionate about living a sustainable and eco-friendly life and can't wait to learn as much as I can on this expedition that I can bring back home to by community and nation. My unique combination of studies allows me to see the problems of climate change through a new lens and help provide new ideas and solutions. Through the expedition's "Leadership on the Edge" program, I will learn convenient, simple solutions for how to fight climate change and live sustainably, that I hope to share with others to inspire them to do the same.
I am looking for support to get me over 6,965km away from home to complete this expedition!
