Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School is the home to HIV/AIDs orhpaned children who live in a deep rural area of Mukono, Uganda who need funds in order to build a school. Funds are lacking to get the school building physical infrastructure completed and furnished. Drinking water is hazardous for their health, so they also need a functioning Water Well created at the school. There is a scarcity of books in the library and an empty science lab with one outdated computer for all of the students, which all further demonstrates their great need for this aid. With all odds against these kids, they are happy and thankful even for the little that they have and continue to strive against the odds and perserve in hopes that things will and can get better. This school is needed so that these students have a place where their education and charater can be nurtured and provide a safe place for them to grow and learn and have a chance for a better future. They love to sing and dance, so please watch them on Youtube (search HIV/AIDS oprhoans Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School). Please send your donations to Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School Mukuno c/o Stanbic Bank Ac# 9030006797511 (Mukono Branch).

This is a really great cause. I have had an opportunity to discuss the improvements slated for the school with the organizers and their ideas will really help to improve the quality of education for these orphaned students. As a fellow Ugandan, this cause was close to my heart as I am familiar with the school and glad that I am able to contribute towards making a change. Best of luck!!
