The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (www.cancham.lv) has been a determined supporter of Nāc Līdzās (Foundation Come Along - http://www.naclidzas.lv/en), its leader, Sarma Freiberga and its Patroness, the former President of Latvia, Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga.
Foundation “Come along!” is a public benefit organization aiming to support children and young people with disabilities integrate into society and help their parents understand the problems they face.
For many years we organized “CanCham Christmas” and were able to deliver much needed support to the organization. COVID-19 has had its effect with the cancellation of CanCham Christmas. However, needs are still there, and we invite our members and friends to donate to this worthy cause.
Let’s wish everyone, and particularly Nāc Līdzas, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
