Donations to buy furniture for victims of a devastating Earthquake in Croatia.

My hometown Petrinja was struck by a series of devastating earthquakes.

The biggest one was one of the strongest earthquakes recorded in Europe - 6.4 on 29th December. It ruined thousands of lives in just a few seconds, leaving families homeless and without adequate shelter and food, or the hope of returning to their homes due to the damage that has been caused.

My parents' house was also struck badly. The ground floor is around 150 years old and it needs to be demolished before building a new one. It will probably take a few years to build my parents a new suitable home.

We found my mom and dad a mobile container to live in now, because they wish to stay in the town, in their yard. We placed it near the house, turned one small room in it into a kitchen, and we plan to turn the other into a place where they can have enough room to spend these cold winter days.

The room is small, so we need to get them a pair of sofas (so that they have enough room to move during the day) that can be also turned into beds at night, small enough to fit into this room. Hopefully, there will be also room for a small closet.

As I am currently unemployed, we need any help we can get to collect at least 250 € to get them this furniture. If you help me with higher donations I can reward you with the help of my drawing skills:
