We cannot deny the fact that the Philippines is experiencing an extended period of uncertainty caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This situation has evolved into a pandemic that is greatly affecting our health care industry and is paralyzing the economy. As of May 10, 2020, the Department of Health recorded 8,151 active cases where a total of 1,991 (19% of all cases) are health workers who are affected by the virus while performing their duties. And due to the sudden postponement of mass gatherings, many event-related SMEs have temporarily closed their businesses which resulted to the displacement of thousands of eventliners (a.k.a. event personnel).

Not all heroes wear capes. The hero could be YOU.

Our medical frontliners need your help. Even if we transition to the general community quarantine, they are still in dire need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is essential in preventing disease transmission.

The eventliners will benefit from your donation, too. The events industry is badly hit by this pandemic. Many of the support staff are daily wagers who rely solely on live events or mass gatherings. Until the ban for mass gatherings is lifted, the livelihood of the eventliners is uncertain.

A donation as low as PhP100.00 can go a long way. This will protect our health workers from the virus as they perform their duties and will alleviate the suffering of no work no pay event personnel who got displaced from work ever since mass gatherings have been prohibited.
