Donation for the Medical Bill of Werlina Baraoidan

This fund-raising is for my mom. She was a warrior, she had been battling Stage IV Lung Cancer for a year.

Even before being diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, she first had tuberculosis. She underwent medical procedures then fortunately recovered. However, due to some complications, she acquired pulmonary edema. She, then, underwent operation and got fully recovered.

After a year of checkups, there were tumors seen on lower part of her neck. She underwent again on another operation. This time, the doctors have to check the root cause of these tumors, only finding out that my mom has a cancer.

My mom wants to live a longer life. She wants to witness her children being successful and having a good life. Mom has taken care of us so much that we want to return the favor. We have a lot of dreams to fulfill with her. We wished for a wonderful life because we are less fortunate.

My father has no work, we are fully dependent on our relatives financially. Mom still insist on fighting. We approached several government agencies to compensate for my mom's chemotheraphy. We've had a long struggle during these times. There's mom losing her hair, vomiting, and other grievous side effects from chemo, yet we weren't able to complete her chemo because of COVID-19 outbreak.

These past few weeks, she had been struggling with breathing. On August 30, she suddenly couldn't breathe. She was rushed to the hospital but was comatose because of brain hypoxia (lack of oxygen in the brain). We've been hand pumping her through night and day to supply enough oxygen. We were planning to transfer her to another hospital with a better machine to pump her oxygen.

Sadly, my mom had to wave goodbye. She fought well until the end. We would like ask for some assistance for my mom's hospital bills and burial expenses.
