Hi! First of all, thank you for noticing this.
My mother, Lourdes Dagami, 60, is a dialysis patient and she is in dire need of financial support. Her IJ catheter is not working properly so she missed a session this week. Fistula surgery cannot be done on her because her veins are too small. The only way for her to do her usual hemodialysis session is to undergo surgery to get her permanent dialysis catheter in her chest.
We don't have enough money to proceed to her surgery operation. My sister and I did as much as we can but we still lack fund to make it before the said date. We really need your help. She needs immediate medical attention before, as her doctor said, "worse things will happen".
We are knocking on the door of your hearts to help us with what we are going through. I know most of you are having a hard time during this pandemic, but we would really appreciate your financial support, big or small. We are eternally grateful to you! Thank you very much!
[Update: June 24]
Thank you for your support and continuing support in this campaign. Because of that, she was able to undergo her surgery yesterday.
The surgery to get her permanent catheter was unsuccessful. The doctor had technical difficulty with the catheter, though they were too close, they weren't able to finish the operation. Since my mother needs to do her usual session, an IJ port on her left neck was created. This port is temporary and prone to infection. The doctor advised us to reschedule another operation for the permanent catheter on her chest.
We still need your assistance in this. Please share this post so it can reach many people. For those who are having a hard time sending their monetary assistance, this is my account info:
