Donation for Masjid in Kaimganj Uttar Pradesh India

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmataullahi Wabarakatuh

All praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and His forgiveness and we believe in Him and rely on Him. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and the vices of our deeds. There is no one to misguide whom Allah guides and there is no one to guide whom Allah lets go astray.

This is a campaign for collecting funds for a requirement of urgent extension works and up gradation of a 150 year old Masjid which is located in the locality of Garhi Noor Khan in the town of Kaimganj near Farrukhabad Uttar Pradesh in India.

The population of this town is approximately 40,000 where approximately 30% are Muslims. The extension was initiated in Ramadan of 2016 but unfortunately, the work is going at a very slow pace due to shortage of funds. The people in the surrounding area are farmers and they are not able to acquire funds for this mosque due to their limited reach and resources . Yet they all try to do their best to collect whatever they can from around the place and adjoining towns. Despite their maximum efforts over the past year they were able to collect Rs. 50,000/- (AUD 1000/-) only. At this rate the requirement of additional Rs 2,00,000/- (AUD 4,000/-) will take an additional 3-4 years to complete the pending works.

Every Muslim is aware of the position of a Masjid in the Islamic Society. When the Prophet (S.A.W) arrived in Madinah, the first act he performed was of building of a Masjid. This indicates the importance of a Masjid in Islam. All acts of worship (Ibadah) in Islam are for the purification of the soul, refinement of morals and strengthening the ties of mutual cooperation among the Muslims. The daily congregational prayers, the Friday prayers and Eid prayers are strong examples of the nature of the Muslim community and in the unity of their opinions, goals and cooperation in achieving righteousness and in fearing Allah.

The Muslims around this Masjid have appealed for help to complete this work before next Ramadan.
