Donation and charity

Hi friends!! For deepavali(Indian light festival) this year I've decided to try and raise some money and split it among three causes for the United Nations World Food Programme. In a year of uncertainty it has truly opened my eyes to the importance of giving back to communities in need and I hope you guys will join me in making this possible :)

1) Providing urgent aid for families in Lebanon

Following the recent catastrophic events in Beirut, the World Food Programme has been assisting families in need, providing vulnerable families in Lebanon with food parcels and emergency support in order to help them get back on their feet.

2) Helping children in Yemen

Yemen is currently facing the world's largest hunger crisis, with more than 20 million people without food security. The World Food Programme is providing the most vulnerable Yemenis with monthly food packages.

3) Helping families in the Republic of Congo

COVID-19 has pushed more than 300,000 people into hunger with unemployment and rising costs of basic food products, affecting vulnerable families. The World Food Programme is providing families with mobile money transfers to purchase necessities in approved shops, empowering families to make their own food choices while still maintaining safe social-distancing
