My hair is somehow really long and I am thinking it's a good time to donate 10 -12 inches (depending on how much it will grow in the next couple of weeks) for a wig towards a child who is fighting cancer and dealing with hair loss.
The first time I donated my hair, a couple of years ago, was for Beautiful Lengths - Pantene. Wigs made out of human hair is really expensive and most of the patients can't afford them. Pantene Beautiful Lengths have partnered with Canadian Cancer Society to make and distribute the wigs for those in needs. This time around I am thinking of making the donation to Angel Hair for Kids - a Toronto based program of 'A child's voice foundation'.
Helping those affected by cancer has always been a very personal cause for me and any donation you make here will go towards my personal charity work for the pediatric ICU at the National Cancer Hospital, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
