Donate to Mental Institution

Headfirst is a non-profit foundation in which funds raised will be donated to the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre in Nassau, Bahamas, for the individuals that suffer from mental illness.

As Miss World Crystal Cay, my platform is something I hold near and dear to my heart. A passion of mine for as long as I can remember, it’s a topic that personally strikes very close to home for me, making it inevitable for me to relate so well.

Growing up, I can recall undergoing extremely traumatic experiences dealing with mentally ill people in my family. And I can say this, IT IS HARD. Not only for the loved ones, but knowing that this is the reality for these human beings each and every day is utterly heartbreaking, especially when they do not have control over it.

It takes A LOT to run a facility with numerous wards and a full load of patients who need to be tended to every single day. Assistance most definitely is needed for this institution.

Join me on my goal to raise $5,000 for the Sandilands mental facility in which basic necessities such as food, clothing, and toiletries can be purchased for these needy patients. ANY CONTRIBUTION, BIG OR SMALL, IS WARMLY APPRECIATED AND WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Nothing would be more joyous and satisfying than to see these people getting the proper help they need with consistency and the quality they deserve. They, too, are humans with feelings, thoughts, emotions and families just like all of us. We all deserve to feel normal and loved.
