Going back to the street this time not as a street kid (In 2000, i was sleeping on street at 6 years) but as a problem solver, is an exciting moment. Am really grateful that things turned the other way round thanks to God and Balinda Stephen- RIP, if it wasn't Stephen i would still be on street and a criminal, would remain in my rugs- brown t-shirt and a toned short. I had no soap, water, bed, school. I had nothing and i used to cry and hardly waiting for my death as 4 of my best friend were starved dead in street fights.
Stephen became my father and only family, though he died he is a great brick to my life if it wasn't him i would be dead. Today i hold youth conferences every year and many are blessed because he changed me, this is why i have run to you good people to come together to save a life of a hungry street (who might be just 6 as i was)
We hold in pretty but he has nothing to dwell on, our kids might be dull but there is lots of talent, lets support them they will assist our kids, we sleep in comfortable warm houses but he needs only a blanket and a full stomach.
There are a liability when not supported and groomed in form of criminals but a blessing to the world when they feel loved and developed into special talents.
The fund will do a number of night sessions over the entire 2019 and thought it would be a nice idea to raise some money while I'm at it. I've chosen a night time, Walkfree program, here in Uganda, because i know at street; night is the longest time you would need support and effective to reach them them. I'm positive that any donation, big or small, will be gratefully received. Thanks in advance for the event, volunteer opportunity, or other information]
