WORKS FOR HUMANITY

Who we are?

WORKS FOR HUMANITY is a non-profit organization which is working to remove illiteracy, to make every people aware about their rights, and increasing awareness about child marriage. It also aims to ensure every human being’s participation in blood donation and make people aware about disease.

What we do?

WORKS FOR HUMANITY has four individual dept. including four individual team which is governed by Dept. Head.

1) Dept. of Education: 75% students only read the academic book. Most of them never read story book or they hardly know about literature which is a crying need for enlightening human mind or outlook. Education dept. is collecting books for a library name "BOIBARI" and it distributes book among the student from class three to class nine. Students who had no goal or planning for their future, are started to thinking maturely and they make an aim for their career.

2) Dept. of Awareness: Lack of awareness is one of the root reason for many problem. Dept. of Awareness is doing regular workshop to increasing public awareness. At present, it’s working for stopping child marriage.

3) Dept. of Health & Blood: Can a human being imagine his body without blood? Or is it possible to make by machine? Ans. Is NO. Blood can be needed for anyone, anytime. Dept. of Health & Blood is working for managing blood donor for the needy patient. Till now, it managed almost 1000bag blood. This dept. always stand by the poor patient who has no one to take care of or have no money for treatment or buying medicine. Till now, it helped physically or economically more than 25 patient.

4) Dept. of Psychological Growth: Is there anyone who have never faced psychological problem like frustration, lack of Self Confidence, Anxiety, thinking about suicide, Depression, short tempered etc.? No, right? Even when people go through any problem for a long session, many times they become frustrated and lost their confidence which hampered their personal and professional life and they think about suicide. Dept. of Psychological Growth has a group named "LIFE BEAUTIFUL" which started at 16th July, 2017 and have 22 member. This dept. arrange regular workshop on psychological issue. To make the member positive about life, it arrange regular trip to beautiful place of Bangladesh, watching movies on cinema etc.

Our Achievement:

"WORKS FOR HUMANITY has received the National Joy Bangla Youth Award 2017 for its outstanding activities on social work from Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the Advisor to the Government of Bangladesh on Information and Communication Technology and the son of our Prime Minister Thank you Young Bangla, CRI, Microsoft, and all the person who work behind this Award program and make it possible. We are also thankful to State Minister of Post, Telecommunications & Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak Sir and State Minister of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Sir, Tarana Halim Mam, Sonia Bashir Mam, Aamra Company and so on. This award is an inspiration to us. Thank you all our volunteers who work day to night for humanity, for country. The award is dedicated to all the people who serve humanity.

Media Covarage:

The media fraternity has given Works For Humanity overwhelming support so far. Without their advocacy it would have been very difficult for Smile to reach out to all those needy and deserving children through its welfare initiatives.
