Reported by BNPB (12/24/2018), the tsunami disaster that occurred due to the avalanche of the slopes of Mount Anak Krakatau claimed 373 deaths, 128 people disappeared, and 1,459 people injured. Even as many as 5,665 people were displaced.

Furthermore, this catastrophe also destroyed 681 houses, 69 hotels / villas, 60 shops / shops, and destroyed 420 ships / boats around.

Responding to the Tsunami disaster in the Sunda Strait on Monday (24/12), the Sinergy Foundation Rescue Team arrived at Pandeglang, Banten.

In this first stage, SF distributed aid in the form of mineral water and instant noodles in Rancateureup Village, Citangkil Village, Tangkil Sari Village, Kec. Cimangu, Pandeglang, Banten. The team continues to assess in several affected areas, and will channel further assistance.

At present, the survivors there desperately need medical services, public kitchens, trauma healing, as well as clothing.
