Don’t Hate, Feel Great

As a teenager growing up I was severely bullied for being too skinny and because of the way I walked, talked, and dressed.  There was no one to turn to or go to for help.  So I turned to dance as a way of releasing all of my anger, pain, and frustration that I kept bottled up inside.  In March of 2014 I passed my Certified Personal Trainer's exam and vowed to get in shape and help people get in shape.  What I plan on doing with the funds is opening a place where people of all races, ages, backgrounds can come to get in shape and not be judged sort of a safe haven I never had growing up.  I'd also offer one on one sessions to help people move on past the bullying.  I know what it's like to be bullied and could really help people.  I haven't got the funds to rent or build a facility, purchase equipment/gear, purchase my liability coverage.  I have people already very interested in coming to my facility.  I have about 60 followers on my fitness Facebook page which is good for our small town.  How many times have you gone to the gym and didn't workout due to the fact that you were embarassed or worried about what others would sayI want to create a comfortable atmosphere where people can come to get in shape without worrying about others passing judgment.  I want them to feel relaxed and dancing really helps get out your emotions. And above all else just have a good time.  I plan on teaching various dance classes for all ages freestyle, dub step, techno, fitness, cardio, strippercise, and offering one on one for those who don't like being in a large group.  There will be like different theme days too, like 80's, 90's night, kid's night, certain musician night, soul train line night.  To sum it up a place you can come have fun be yourself and forget about all the hate and feel great!!
