Dolly was recently rescued from a shelter in southern New Mexico.  She spent a couple of days at a temporary foster home and then was moved to a regular foster home.  On arrival, she became ill and would not eat.  On her second morning, Dolly was desperately ill.  An emergency trip to the vet was made and the vet diagnosed poor little Dolly with Parvo!  She had been rescued at the last minute from a high-kill shelter only to get sick with life-threatening parvo virus.  Dolly spent six days at the vet and is now back in her foster home recovering.  Her vet bills exceeded rescue's bank account, and so we are reaching out to dog lovers to give a hand.  We are a very small rescue and rely on out-of-pocket and donor funding for all of the dogs we rescue.  Regular care and basic vetting is costly.  When a dog comes in requiring special vet care and treatment, we rely on the huge hearts of people like you!  Please donate whatever you are able.  Any amounts over the vetting and after-care costs will go into our account for future needs.  Thank you!
