Dog Shelter

I am raising money for Callejeritos San Jerónimo, a non profit, privately owned dog shelter supported mainly by volunteers. Ongoing donations are required for the care of rescued dogs from Cusco and the surrounding areas. The funds will be used for food, veterinary care and medicines, sterilizations, rent, utilities and maintenance of the property housing the dogs, salaries of staff, and general expenses such as cleaning supplies, blankets, toys, leashes, etc.

At the end of 2022 the shelter moved to a new, larger location in San Sebastian, Cusco. It is always challenging to meet the needs of all of our rescued dogs. We are currently looking for donations to help us to afford the monthly rent at the shelter and for food to adequately feed over 40 dogs in our care.

Any amount of donation is welcome and greatly appreciated. Know that your donation directly helps to support the lives of animals rescued from living on the streets of Cusco. In addition to the day to day requirements of the dogs our focus is on rehabilitation when required and rehoming of the dogs in our care.
