Documenting the world – every inch of our planet in pictures

Hello people, my name's Cristian, aged 30, I'm an IT engineer and several years ago I started roaming the world with my wife. What started out as a few planned vacations became a great passion for everything that our planet has to offer, and, more notably, documenting everything through photography. The one thing that I noticed while doing so is that the photo resources, while vastly available on the Internet, mostly cover the same tourist-flooded objectives. What most of the online image-base contains are thousands of pictures of the same several locations, in the most popular destinations. During my travels, I have noticed content that could much better represent the certain regions, but in more laid-back, traditional locations, sometimes even a few blocks away from a popular objective. This is why I feel that passionately documenting the less-visited regions, through expressive photos, will help many people decide to actually visit themselves, take a risk, stand out from the crowd, and see something that is many times more worth seeing than what a travel agency has to offer.

My intention is to build a huge base of images from every corner of the world, and compile them in a travel blog dedicated specifically to promoting these kind of heritages. However, in order to start the project, an initial influx of finances will be required, hence this campaign page.

What you will notice is that every single picture is selected from a much larger batch of images, and every single picture is individually post-processed ( after being shot in RAW format ) in order to look as consistent as possible with the reality of the location. You can find pictures of Thailand, Caribbeans, US East Coast, France, Italy, UK, Greece, Germany, Romania.
