Need Financial Aid for The Last Year of Doctoral Study

I am a doctoral candidate in mathematics education in University of Massachusetts Amherst, and need financial aid for the last year of my study. No matter how big or small, everything will help. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your attention and help

My Story: From Java to Massachusetts

I am a doctoral candidate in mathematics education in College of Education, University of Massachusetts Amherst, MA 01003, U.S.A. And I plan to graduate in May 2017. I am interested in mathematics education because I think that mathematics is one of the most important knowledge and tools for solving problems in real world situation.

Now I have problem in financing the last year of my doctoral study program, because of that I would like you to consider helping me as an investment towards my future rather than a donation because after getting doctoral degree I will return to my country for teaching mathematics in university and especially for better developing mathematics education world there.

From 2008 to 2013 my doctoral study was financed by Indonesian government because I was a faculty member, then from 2014 to 2015 I financed my doctoral study with my own money until I got doctoral candidate status in May 2015. Soon after that, I returned to my country Indonesia, for conducting my dissertation research; and now I am still in Indonesia writing my dissertation draft. And then, in 2016/2017 academic year I will return to campus for preparing and defending my dissertation, and for graduation.

I have paid all of tuition and dissertation credits fees. But for covering my other needs in campus for 2016/2017 academic year I still need more fund about $17000 that will be used for round-trip travel fees (economic class) of $3600, living costs of $9500, health insurance of $2400, and program and graduation fees of $1500. For covering those needs I do hope everybody, my family, and friends in the US and in other countries will be willing to donate. No matter how big or small it is, everything will help.
