Django needs his momma

This is Django. Today he is four years old. He moved from his home in Austin Texas to Costa Rica with his parents in 2015. Django's parents split up about a year later and Django spent half his time with mom and half with dad. One day, in May of 2017 dad decided he wanted to keep Django all for himself. He abducted Django and went into hiding. He cut off all contact with Django's mom. He was able to pay corrupt officials to allow him to illegally keep Django from his mother. Django's mother, Ellie, has been fighting a fierce and lengthy battle to gain audience with an impartial judge, in the hopes of claiming her rights to be with her young son. There have been many hurdles and setbacks, but Ellie has not given up. Now, more than a year since his kidnapping, Ellie is prepared to bring the matter to court to ask for a fair decision regarding Django's future, with his best interests at heart.

Django has a great sense of humor. He loves music and cars and strawberry milkshakes, but most of all, he loves his momma. Friends who have seen him out with his father say he seems to be growing sadder and more withdrawn. He has been seen with marks and signs of neglect. Ellie is asking for help to pay attorney fees for a lawyer who will reunite Django with his mom, so that she can protect and nurture him once again, in the ways that he needs.
