We believe that education needs reform, and that there should be a multifaceted way of learning. Not just from eyesight and the sensory realm of numbers, words and events, but also in the metaphysical realm of thoughts, emotions, inspiration and spirituality.  We know what we learn, but its important to understand how it applies to us. Using the universal laws of attraction, is a must when developing the course guide. Assessments will determine if the student, is serious about their future or not.    We believe learning should be a desire. To accomplish this, we have to expand inside of our knowledge. Putting each lesson to use and responding to the emotional feedback.  This will create a solid understanding of how well we understand each subject. The blocks and difficulties we may have, can be eradicated by "feeling for the lesson" as well as traditional studies.

We will open a learning and expansion center, as the headquaters of Distnction.  The concept is a very creative and free environment to indulge into education.  While the curriculm will be enriching and motivating, it will allow the student to choose their methods of learning freely.  This will be accomplished by allowing the instructors, full creative control of their curriculm.  

For example, if a student chooses to take chemistry.  The instructor will teach all core standards of college level chemistry as he or she sees fit.  No pre-determined curriculum from the university.  That being said, the interview and assessment process of every instructor, will be very tedious, only the top in their field with proven track records will be appointed to a class room.   Studies have shown, teachers who've mastered their creativity within their teaching practice, are more likely to inspire and have successful students.  

Drop out rates are at a all time high.  Creative liberation and expansion in education, will allow the student to choose the path he or she would like to take, because they will be drawn to the teachers, that best feed their insatiable hunger for knowledge.  Distnction Learning and Expansion Center will be broken up into 5 academies. Each having their own themes and learning styles.  Visual Learning, Transformational leadership, Crystal Clear, Spiritual Iradescence and Distnction academy.  All having the same core courses, just different ways of teaching them, along with their own thematic studies.  The  first month of each semester (Harvest Month) students may try different classes and by the end of  harvest month, must decide on their schedules.

Teaching of standards will be totally up to the instructors, however in a knowledge expansion setting, the instructors will have more flexibility in how they teach those standards.  The idea is to allow everyone freedom in their own educational career. Each student will receive a grade from their instructors. In addition, will be required to grade themselves. The grade they give themselves, must be factored into their overall grade.  This will allow them to take full responsibility for the completion of their educational goals while attending Distnction.

Distnction will run from freshmen year of college until the student decides he or she is complete. More details will be discussed in the future, as we are actively trying to rethink the matriculation process and change the  degree earning system all together.    Tuition and Cost will come from traditional sources of funding (loans and grants), and from utilizing our skilled and gifted students, faculty and administration to venture out and create the funding for their own educational careers. For example: Art students will throw concerts, fashion students will have their own fashion stores, and business students will have their own businesses, through out their college careers,  Everyone will have full support from the school and each other.

Distnction doors will open in the fall of  2020. The start of a new decade, and new era of education.  In the mean time, we will be working meticulously, with experts in learning expansion , to perfect the infastructure of our school.  I, Christopher Jarrett, Founder and CEO of Distnction, will need the support of all of you, in order to make such an innovative idea happen.
