I am seeking funds to enable me to continue my legal battle, (5 years we have been seeking justice) for my Husband (John), who was maimed and disabled by his International employer and their International client in a hazardous chemical spill. No medical attention was offered, in fact medical attention was denied. No hazmat team called in to clean the spill and no emergency services called to assist.

He was put through the most dishonest internal disciplinary hearing (which took nearly 4 months to complete) and then dismissed from their employment because he was disabled and unable to continue in his current position. I personally sued our Government Compensation Commissioner to re-open his file and allow him to receive a meager disability pension, which does not even cover his medical expenses every month. His ex-employer did not feel the need to report his disability to their Insurer's despite receiving a report detailing his disablement. They cited he was lying and faking his illness, even though medical assessments proved otherwise. He therefore did not receive a disability pension from his ex-employer.

The funding I am humbly requesting is two folded as I have written a book about our heart-breaking journey, since the day he became injured to where we are present day, and I would like it to be published so that people can see and understand that no person is disposable by any corporation / employer, especially when they were the ones who disabled you in the first place.

We were advised to get married immediately as his death would mean the end of our long legal battle when he succumbs to his injuries. I love him dearly so am delighted to announce that we are recently married.

I have bonded and sold just about everything I can to fund his legal battle and pay for his sprilling medical costs and I am now appealing for funds so that I can continue this fight and seek justice, not only for my husband, but for the other unsuspecting souls like the office cleaners who were called in to clean up this hazardous spill and who would have known none the wiser what damage this hazardous chemical BROMINE could do to them in the long run - even kill them. As you can see from the video protective gear must be worn, this was not done!

John will require a lung transplant at some stage as well due to the irreversible damage the bromine has done to his lungs.

If not for humour and the love we have for each other, we would not have come this far. I cannot give up on him now. He may be just garbage to his ex-employer, their client and their lawyers who are intent on wasting every cent I have saved thus far. He is however my treasure and I hope to keep him around.
