Displaced Family Moving Fund

Hi, my name is Kristi. Over the past year my family has been displaced from our home 3 times while waiting for section 8. The waiting lists are very long. It took 6 months just to get the appointment. I have applied for disability and been denied even though i have osteo arthritis in my knees and degenerative disk desease in my back. My husband is ill and has not been able to work steadily for most of this year. We are currently being evicted from our place but the plus side is that we are waiting for a section 8 housing voucher currently. However this will leave a few weeks in which we will have nowhere to stay. There are 4 of us in the family. We do have a car but will have no way to move our furniture and can not afford to buy new stuff. We are just trying to survive and now I am hoping that there are still some good people left out there that will help change our lives for the better. Thank you and God Bless You!
