Hi Good people, Thanks for visiting my page. My name is Oliver Ayieko, I am a fomer US army service member and an international University student at Southeast state Missouri but originally from Africa. While I was in Kenya, i received a partial schorlaship after my senior year to attend University of SEMO to pursue a degree in cybersecurity and minor in business administration.
I was successfully enrolled into the university and attended freshman and sophomore years however difficult it has been to fund most of my education expenses. During my sophomore year while in campus i was recruited into the military, us army branch through a program called MAVNI( military accession is vital to national intrest). For the love and passion of the country, I enlisted to serve and defend this great country.
Since I was a kid, one of my biggest dreams was to pursue a career in the army. While growing up I was captivated by uniforms the servicepeople wore, knowing they belonged to an elite team rooted in pride and unity that protects our country. That was my inspiration for wanting to be part of the military; that it wasn't about an individual, it's about being involved in something incredible larger than myself. I trained at Fort Jackson military base in South Carolina and successfully graduated as a soldier but was never naturalised to be a US citizen even though it was promised by the department of defense through the department of state.
It resulted through change in policy after the new administration took over which reversed all the open service policy that allowed qualified foreign nationals to serve in the military. It undermined all the progress made and as a result I was discharged from the military, a move that can see me and my family deported out of the country if I don't go back to school from next semester to maintain my legal status that I gave up when I joined the military. Although the case is with the supreme court, it can take up to years before a rulling is made.
It is for that reason that I am kindly requesting assistance to help fund out of pocket my remaining part of my education inorder to maintain my previous student status and avoid deportation, since I became a victim of circumstance while my intention were right. Without help I will have to return back to Africa where there is no guarantee of the future of my education.
I would really appreciate any help you are willing to grant me to be able to achive my future goals of graduating from the University of SEMO. Thank you kindly.
