Disabled woman with rare genetic disease (HEDS) needs your help for food&healthcare

Please help a disabled woman who suffers from Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare genetic disease that causes cardiac issues, POTS, bladder and other organ prolapse, chronic body pain, chronic fatigue, swelling of limbs, loss of strenght and function of limbs and many other symptoms.

Currently, in South Africa, I am unable to apply for a disability grant as per South African Government Covid-19 regulations, as no new cases are accepted.

I was a State hospital unit manager and became disabled within a year; I have no income, and won't have any income for the foreseeable future as my hands are severely affected and I use walking aids.

From being a registered nurse for 20+ years who took care of patients, to now being classifiied as a disabled person, is a very depressing situation to be in.

I am the sole provider for my 15 yr old daughter and my 70 yr old father.

I am asking complete strangers to open up their hearts and wallets to assist me in providing for my family and to enable me to pay my medical expenses and medical insurance.

Since being diagnosed I have started and joined many support groups to raise awareness of the disease, but also to encourage people to share their struggles and to know they are not alone.

As this is a progressive disease, there is no cure, only treatment of the symptoms.

Please help by donating as much as you can, your donations will not be wasted on frivolous things, it will all be used for daily living and medical expenses.
