Disabled family is in need of home repairs & more

Our parents raised us to believe and practice that everyone is equal and everyone needs help along the way.  There have been many times throughout my life which I have made a difference in our community, the lives of strangers, family and friends.  Never would I have thought that there would come a day when I needed to seek help.  

At first I was consumed with shame and embarrasement, failed to remember those I have helped past With that being said the following is a true and correct detailing of the most immediate needs.

Betty suffers from a third knee replacement ending up with a severe infection which required additional hospitalization.  After being released, while getting out of the car she fell twisting the upper and lower areas of the replacement breaking her knee cap and tearing a tendon.  

As for myself  suffers from V-Tack and have already had 9 cardiac procedures.  Three stents were placed in my heart, however the damage had been done (there is a 1" strip from the top to the bottom of my heart which is dead).  Ultimately, the end result for me is to have an artificail heart put in my chest and wait for a transplant.  I would love to say that I am not frightened, however those people who are not only appear in the movies.

Josh who suffers from the most severe from of Bipolar Disorder is NO longer able to work.  He has filed for Social Security Disability. We are in search of an attorney to represent him to allow the process to go as smoothly as possible.  Having shared with you all of our health background our immediate needs are as follows:

We need help with paying the untilities: Dominion Power $1,349.76 (past due) Cox Internet, telephone and cable is $250.00 (past due) Unpaid medical bills are in excess of $11,000.00 At present we our major need is for the repairs to our mobile home.

Both my sister and I are on Social Security and once we pay the bills (multiple bills are left unpaid) there is no money left for upkeep and maintance on our home.  As stated eariler Josh is waiting the process of approval (which may take many months).

Our immediate needs are as follows: New windows, doors (both were damaged by would be thieves) and siding, removing, repair and replace the floors throughout the house with carpet, pad and one piece vinyl.  The current floor is the haven and perfect atmosphere for mold and mildew to thrive. In spite of our efforts we cannot prevent the mold from thriving. We need a front deck with ramp to make it easier for my siser to traverse the ramp and a small cement sidewalk leading to the street.
