Dinky’s Love

Dinky is everyone's favorite dog. She is my baby. She is also my service dog. I am Deaf and Dinky works to alert me to various sounds in the environment. She is my other half. . .even though she is a quarter half size wise. :-)

The past two weeks have been a medical roller coaster ride for us both. She lost a bit more than a pound which is a lot when you are already at 9lbs. She stopped eating, drinking water, and interacting. At one point her potassium levels were so high it was affecting her heart rate. . .slowing it down significantly. At the end Dinky was diagnosed with Addison's disease.

As we all know, vet bills increase every time we go to the vet. Dinky will need medicine for the rest of her life. Right now, I need help with the vet bills that have accumulated since December 2015 (her first vet appointment). With one vet visit in December 2015, in January 2016 and a week's worth of appointments in February 2016, the vet bills now total at $3677.67.

I need your help. I work at a non-profit organization in the Bay Area that provides services to Deaf/DeafBlind/DeafPlus/Hard of Hearing/Late-Deafened individuals. My income is extremely limited. I AM committed to her health. I just need help paying for the vet bills that have accumulated in three months.
