She’s already strong. But she needs to be stronger - for her daughter...

Her name is Marie Joana. Our family fondly calls her Dimples. Life has tested her countless times, but she remained positive, full of love, full of joy. Her favorite line was “Kaya ko to, ako pa?”

And then came the big C.

She remains to be the same positive Dimples that we know. But this time, it’s different. This could be the most difficult test for her, and she needs to come out of it stronger - for her 3yr old girl, Zoie. (Dimples is a single mom).

March this year, Dimples was diagnosed with a very aggressive type of cancer -

Invasive Carcinoma Bilateral Breast Stage3 (breast cancer) triple negative. Excision of mass was already done but she needs immediate treatment. She will undergo Adjuvant Chemotherapy (6 cycles x Php36,509 per cycle) starting next week. Followed by radiation therapy for 33 days (Php1,000 per session). She will still need to go for one more surgery - Modified Radical Mastectomy.

This year is the worst time to get sick. With the pandemic, hospitals are prioritizing CoVid patients and most (if not all) government funds are allocated to it as well. So this brings us to this campaign...
