I am a 17 year old high school student, I am in a medical assisting program, I work as a lifeguard but because it is winter I only get to work about 2 days every 2 weeks, I am also a teen catechist I teach children about Jesus Christ on Mondays and Wednesdays, I am involved with the youth in my church, I have good grades and work very hard to pay my car insurance, phone bill, and my groceries.. ect...

Life likes to hit you with problems and recently my best friend Dilylah has been diagnosed with Valley Fever and also had an infected bug bite on her leg. The Vets didn't think she would make it, but I refused to give up because Dilylah didn't want to give up either, she always tried her best to be happy and be in a good mood if she was willing to keep fighting for her life so was I. She lost her appetite, a lot of weight and the use of her hind legs. The closest veterinary office to me does not accept payments, only full payments for the service provided .Through it all one of my dear friends has been paying the expenses for the life saving medication and a surgery Dilylah had done. The surgery was to remove the infection on her leg , she's on Fluconazole( $42 a month ) for Valley Fever and Rymadl ($27 for 2 weeks) for pain / inflammation in her spine and an antibiotic for her leg infection, the vet wants me to switch her Rymadl for Gabapentin ($42 a month) soon but I can't afford it. Iv'e been slowly trying to pay back my friend while also paying for Dilylah's monthly medications and special food that is also expensive but extremely beneficial, she gained a whole pound in the firs 5 days of trying the food (A&D) (that I have to force feed her though a syringe 4 times a day) . That same friend and I also built Dilylah a wheel chair recently and she loooooves to use it . I also need help to raise $180 for Dilylah to fly with me to San Diego which I do alone every year for Christmas to see my family it will be Dilylah's 1st time flying. I would love to consider leaving Dilylah home but I can't rely on any one to take care of her as well as I do and she just loves me so much she whimpers just for me to carry her, like a baby. So I just can't leave her in someone else's poor quality care for 2 weeks .

Please help me to pay back my amazing friend $306 and help me to continue giving Dilylah the help she needs, God bless you .
