Campaign Story
Dikgang Tsa Banana is a community-based youth newspaper with its mandate in probing for aptitude in adolescent girls and youth as well as orphaned & vulnerable susceptible children (OVC's). Once we have I identified the individuals, we raise funds to better their edification and needs in order for them to achieve their dreams.
We withal aim to promote and empower women in communities through community journalism by paying them for the stories we publish in the paper, which fixate on youth development. We believe everyone has a story. Once published, these stories can inspire, inculcate and promote better living in of our readers in poorer communities and nations in Southern African at large. The newspaper is mainly focused on youth development and can be adopted in any region in Africa and other communities can mirror its predecessor.
