Digital Marketing Agency Startup

Since I can remember it was a dream of mine to start and run my own business. Unfortunately I never had the startup capital to do so. I have been retrenched from jobs 3 times in the last 10 years, and at the age of 41 I am more determined than ever to follow my dream and build a successful business. My passion lies with technology and that is why I decided to start a digital marketing/media agency.

My personal story in short:

I'm a single caucasian 41 year old female with several financial responsibilities. Currently I am employed full-time, but my salary doesn't even cover all my monthly living expenses. There are times that I don't even have food in the house or fuel to get from point A to point B. I am well educated and have been trying to get jobs that offer better salaries, but with the country's economy it's almost impossible to even get an interview. I am a very proud person and it's not in my nature to ask for help or for financials handouts when I am struggling. With this in mind I decided it will be best for me to start my own business in order to generate my own income, to build something for myself and also to enable me to give back to causes close to my heart. I prefer to work hard and earn my money rather than to ask for handouts or financial assistance to help me get through a month.

On the other end of the coin..I love animals and would love to help welfare organizations through my company as well. Not only to make donations on a annual basis but also to be actively involved in organizing fundraisers and events for them.

About the Start-up:

The name of the company is Champion Digital Media (CDM) and our target market will be small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups. The company will be a fully remote company with our core focus on customer service and satisfaction.

The short-term objective is to start this company quickly and inexpensively, with a minimum amount of debt. The long-term objective is to grow the company into a stable and profitable entity that can be easily and comfortably managed. The goal is to start-up with enough capital to keep the business going for a period of 6 months. This will provide enough time for the business to build up a client database and become profitable. Total start-up expenses for Champion Digital Media comes to $14 000.
