Diatrans Kidney Foundation is a not for profit organization which was established in 1983 by chronic kidney disease sufferer group who joined organization known as Indonesian Dialysis and Transplantation Patient. The objective behind the establishment is to help reducing the burden of chronic kidney disease sufferer, increasing their quality of life and assisting the government in improving community healthcare. Since its establishment, Diatrans Kidney Foundation focus in providing hemodialysis treatment for kidney failure patient. IDKF recognize the need of kidney disease sufferer who are mostly prefer to choose Hemodialysis as their treament modality, compare with 2 other methods namely Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and Kidney Transplantation.
