If strength and beauty were a walking, living, breathing person - Diana would be that person. A bright and beautiful soul destined to change the world with her smile and ambitious spirit finds herself in a most difficult situation. A four-year breast cancer survivor with a purpose in this world. She moved to the United States from Ecuador to complete a Masters in Marketing at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. She was preparing to start her final semester, but would first take a a trip to attend a wedding in her home town of Guayaquil on July 28th. Diana traveled to Ecuador hoping to have an amazing time alongside her friends and family. After dancing the night away, her and her cousin headed home in the early morning hours. Unfortunately, Diana and her cousin, Emilio were in a car accident that resulted in her sustaining pulmonary contusions, bruises on her body, and an ankle fracture that required surgery and a year-long journey of physical therapy. Diana was transferred from the Kennedy clinic in Guayaquil to Baptist Hospital in Miami where she finally had surgery on her ankle, and to date is recovering well. Like her usual self, Diana is taking a challenge that life has presented to her once again, with her head held high, the courage of a warrior, and the dignity of a queen.

Anyone who knows her, knows that she would do anything for her friends, and so, I am asking that we do the same for her. Her medical expenses have become overwhelming and she still requires rehabilitation in order to walk again. The financial burden will only worsen with time.
