Diana Hyslop medical support fundraiser

An urgent reconstructive surgery is required for my femur bone . It is critical that the operation happens soonest. i am anxious about this after a series of operations and related recovery and also since this is time sensitive.

When I told my good friend Usha Seejarim that I’d been to see a new surgeon, and that I’d now have to have yet another operation on my leg - my 5^th in just over two years, having already cost me a small fortune in medical bills, her immediate response was “that’s no problem I will organize crowd funding for you and I will ask some artists to donate or do a 50/50 deal so we can raise money for you for what seems like a pretty complicated and costly operation”. She immediately went to work and curated a very beautiful online show of artists she thought may be able to help. In addition to the sale of artworks, we decided to create a Gogetfund for those who would like to support in cash.

I am immensely grateful to her and to all the artists who very generously contributed to solving this.
