Dialysis Treatment Fundraising

On November 2017, Nurmiati was diagnosed with kidney failure and doctor required her on dialysis treatment for the rest of her life. Her husband has left her without notice when her eldest was only a teenager and left her to care for her 6 young children alone with the help of her eldest children. She is a strong and dedicated mother and always managed to care for her children until this unfortunate situation happened.

With their mother sudden medical condition, Dharma, one of her eldest was left with the responsibility to care for his younger siblings along with his oldest sister, paying for their education fees and now their mother’s medical bills. They tried their best without asking help from anyone until the cost became unbearable to the point they could not even pay for the cost of hospital bed in the final night their mother was hospitalized earlier this year. As a friend, my family and I help pay the fees.

Their mother medical bills could not be covered by insurance because their mother was holding an immigrant IC, she is a permanent resident but having still married to her long-lost husband who is a local resident she could not change the status herself, but Dharma is still working towards solving this.

However, recently their mother was hospitalized again due to broken Fistula and needed to be operate, another enormous cost was issued in the invoice and they could not cover it even by cutting on their food and daily supplies.

Thus, due to enormous sum, and the other burdens that Dharma has to carry, I have decided to set up this fundraising to help him and his sister to ease their burden. Despite that they are still humble and asked me to only raise fund for the broken fistula and the surgery needed to replace it. That’s where we can help.

Dharma’s mother is a very loving and dedicated mother that despite her unfortunate condition she still managed to send two of her children to college while her younger ones still in school. Her children are doing everything they can to repay back their mother and we can help to make it a little easier and less stressful.
