Dialysis treatment for my mother

Dear Beloveds,

My 58-year-old mother is facing one of those situations you never wish on anyone else. She is a loving, woman of sterling worth who is a mother figure to so many people. She has made so many sacrifices that run the gamut from taking strangers away from the streets, welcoming them into her home and helping them get back on their feet to being a devoted church leader who is a go to person for all. She has always, always been there for others no matter what and her strong presence and tutelage has never gone unnoticed.

Earlier in May 2016, she was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure and she now needs to start dialysis treatment in the first week of June. She is also diabetic and suffers from hypertension as well so she needs to manage all three conditions and get to a stage where she can be considered a good candidate for a transplant, right now she is not a good candidate for a kidney transplant and needs to rely on dialysis until such a time.

She has since been complementing her medication with a good attitude, nutrition and prayers. She is currently not covered by insurance at the moment and the expenses of her treatment are mounting up. Insurance will only be able to cover her after 12 months from now, which will be from June 2017. Till then, we are in desperate need of some assistance with paying for her dialysis sessions which she needs to get three times a week.

My mom’s needs for healing include:

2) Donations to cover Renal & Dialysis medical costs and transport expenses during treatment which she needs to get three times a week.
