Diabetic Mission – Healing

About Me My name is Robert. I am a 36 y/o Diabetic (Found out 2010) libinf in Buffalo, NY. I have a full-time job as long as I am healthy. I have been numerous times without Medical coverage over the past 4 years which has led me to be without my medications. Because of this I have had to have both Big toes amputated. I also had to have surgery on my right eye to stop retinal bleeding. The surgery on my eye was a success but they need to drain the healing oils placed in the eye in order to allow some vision to return to it. On top of these issues on December 26, 2014 my wife of 4 years walked out on me leaving me because she cannot bear to be with a sick person who needs help doing things now and again. She said she wants to be taken care of which is what I thought I was doing.  Anyway's that leads me to the reasoning I need this funding. What the Money will be used for As I am once again without insurance I am currently unable to continue to afford my Lantus Medication. It is $150 for a 30-day supply x 12 = $1800 I also need to replace my special diabetic shoes with custom inserts which are $1100 The eye surgery to remove the oil will come to a total of $2700 With the remaining $900 I would love to use to help fix up my apartment a little to make it a little more liveable for me due to my handicap (bath rails..etc).
