Restoring Paradise and Lands of Freedom

We are aiming to buy 1 hectare of land in Mindanao, Philippines and transform it into a paradise or what we call a "Land of Freedom". But what is a land of freedom?

♥ A land of freedom is a community forest garden that is open for all. Open for different animals. Open for people to harvest food and relax. To study or sleep on.

♥ Just like the animals who pollinate and fertilize the plants, humans who visit the land of freedom must do their part. For every food they harvest, they must give back to the forest by providing organic fertilizers from their kitchen wastes or their composted humanure. Money is not used to buy food because food is free from Nature. All they have to do is fertilize the plants for it to keep on giving.

♥ In our land of freedom, we'll plant mostly native plants like Narra, Kulitis, Pako, Saluyot, Alugbati, Talinum, etc. Those plants will help conserve and restore our biodiversity by serving as food for indigenous insects, birds, etc.

♥ After the establishment of the land, aside from letting people harvest food, we'll also teach visitors (especially children) how to plant and manage a garden.We'll teach them the importance of taking care of the Land and living beings.

We believe that love and compassion can solve most of the world's problems especially the climate crisis. Loving others as much as we love ourselves. Putting ourselves in someone else's shoes and understanding their sufferings. Therefore, we'll strive to create a positive impact to our world. We'll do what we can to achieve our common goal: a world and a life of peace, love, and compassion. Freedom for humanity and fellow earthlings.
