Development Soccer Team Kombi/Bus

I am a coach that coaches Junior Soccer in Durban, South Africa, and have discovered talented youngsters on the streets and taken them onto the soccer field, I have put together a team of boys, many coming from a disadvantaged background. I've coached Grassroots/ Development Soccer for the past 17 years.

I am in desperate need of a kombi/bus type vehicle to transport players on a daily basis as many of my players parents do not have transport or the funds for transport to get their boys to and from soccer practice and matches.

The team has been together for 3 years and the entire team is focused on becoming Professional Soccer players, all the boys are between the ages of 8 and 12 years old. Currently I am using my personal vehicle (Citroen C3) which is way to small and dilapidated to transport all my players at once and I always have to make more than a couple trips to collect boys from school and take them back home after their training or games. Majority of my players being disadvantaged youngsters from rural areas that can hardly afford a pair of boots.
I have discovered absolute raw talent, extremely talented young boys, coaching them full time all year round to help them realise their dreams of one day playing soccer professionally. I will gladly share their success stories in the coming years as my main objective is to get them as far as I possibly can in Soccer and in Life. I have made it my mission to not let this group of talented young boys slip through the cracks and become lost to life's distractions.

Our daily routine starts once the boys have finished school, I collect them from different schools around Durban, South Africa, take them home with me to have lunch, complete their homework and then off to the soccer fields for training, once training or matches are complete I then take boys home or to the taxi rank in order for them to commute home, this is an extremely difficult task as I am only able to transport a certain number of boys at a time as my car is very small, making at least 3 trips back and forth.

I am extremely passionate about my boys and what they have achieved thus far, last season we only lost one match the entire year. These boys played U11 last year going as far as beating teams 2-3 years older than them, U13/14 which is a fantastic achievement. A couple of my boys have already been spotted by scouts, offering them future possible opportunities at professional clubs in South Africa when they come of age.
I will also need a certain portion of the funds for new kit and equipment as we desperately require new equipment.

Breakdown of how funds will be used:
Reliable VW Kombi/Bus (Used) R250 000. ($20,000)
Soccer Balls, Kits, Tracksuits, Training Aids and other required equipment R50 000. ($5000)

The funds would be required immediately as we have already started preparing for the season and year ahead, we are already in full swing and transport is no doubt a daily concern and major stress.

I am also looking at taking this team on an International Tour after our season concludes, therefore if any of the funds are left over, I will put the remaining funds towards the tour.
