We are a group of engineers and engineering students in the Philippines raising money to develop new learning technology for public school children. We are envisioning a low-cost computer setup that we plan to load with learning modules that would teach kids how to read, perform basic mathematics, and use the computer.
We plan to begin building the units and distribute them to the schools, starting with those in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. We chose Fr. Gratian Murray, FSC Integrated School as our first beneficiary. We intend to add a few more schools (Andres Bonifacio Elementary School, Education and Training Center School, etc.) after implementing our first setup. We hope to extend our reach to the rest of Negros Occidental, and later, the rest of the Philippines!
