Hi! My team goal is to succeed in developing a device that uses green energy and splits CO2 from air into O2, the oxygen type that we need to breathe, and C that can be stored and then recycled. Considering the low amount of vegetation on Earth at the moment, we really need an extra help in getting oxygen and getting rid of the carbon dioxide that contributes to global warming. The development process will have 3 stages: learn, prototype, finalize. So in the first stage my team will complete their knowledge of chemistry by getting and learning from books of advanced chemistry. In the second stage we will try to develop a prototype of the device. And in the final stage we will get the device in a state where it uses the least amount of energy and have the highest possible success rate of converting CO2 into O2 and C. The donations will be used for buying the required books, then for getting materials for the prototype. We hope that we will succeed as fast as possible and improve our planet atmosphere, considering that more and more forests burn and are cut down, resulting in more CO2 in the air and less breathable O2. We will document our research stages, so you can see in real time how the development is going.
