Develop books and activities for orphans

I have found the best way to help orphan children is to spend quality time with them, sharing and listening to their unique life stories. Engaging in reading activities with stories that carry valuable lessons and help children move forward in their lives. Throughout the years I have spent visiting orphanages and helping children to overcome trauma of losing their parents, I observed there is an enormous need to help orphans and stand by their side.

For orphans to feel included, cared for, loved and protected, I have decided to collaborate with writers from all countries and cultures in creating a children’s picture book series. This series will be made specifically for orphans to suit their needs on all levels, emotionally, mentally, psychologically. Even spiritually, orphans can learn steps in how to overcome trauma, sadness, loneliness and connect with their lost parents.

- The books within this series will focus on several valuable and meaningful subjects. Each book is embedded with positive self-esteem building affirmations that encourage children to create their own personality, giving them the support to feel that they are not alone.

- This children's picture book series will inspire orphans to find the power within them, their best potential, dreams, and the ability to express themselves.

The resilience of children when given the appropriate help, care and resources allows them to heal and continue on with their lives and find joy.

* I will be personally delivering these books with reading activities to orphanages and orphans of war, child labor centers, refugee camps, schools, etc. I will also be creating teacher training programs for educators, caregivers and social workers to continue on the work of helping heal orphan children.
