Hi! My name is Jasmin, and my Fiancé Rodney, or Deuce as everyone calls him, is set to be released from prison after over two years of being away. In this time I’ve given birth and raised our daughter Arabella alone. With help from our loved ones here and there, whenever they’re able but for the most part, I’ve been a single parent just trying to make it to the next day. He has not met, held, kissed, or even smelled his beautiful, lovely child. Never been in each other’s arms, so you can imagine the strenuous effect that can have on our family, but God blesses those who are patient and trust him and now he’s due to be released early! IN DAYS!! No more months, no more weeks, BUT DAYS AWAY! I am overjoyed and overwhelmed as I do not have anything ready for my soon to be husband’s homecoming. I’ve been going thrifting and grabbing a few items he needs for the first few days but I need to get him winter/cold weather clothes, shoes, and everyday necessities. He’s gained 45 pounds of muscle being in prison, so he’s jumped from a size M to XL/2X! So he can no longer fit any of his old clothes. I’ve had to literally restart his whole wardrobe as things were tossed over the years. Anything will help I promise, I’m very humble and appreciate even just a prayer that everything will fall into place. Thank you for reading our story, & a soecthank you to those whose been with us thus far. We’re almost to the finish line!! #BringRodneyHome 💙
