Desperately Need to Replace Wheelchair Van

I was involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident.

I came out of it with some minor injuries that will be covered by insurance but also ended up writing off our Accessible Vehicle.

This is the only way we have to get to medical appointments, visit family and do our grocery shopping.

There is no assistance to buy vehicles in Nova Scotia and unfortunately the replacement value to get another vehicle is nowhere close to what we will be receiving from the Insurance settlement.

A used vehicle, that is already adapted can run anywhere from $20,000 - $45,000 when they are available.

A new vehicles plus adaption can run anywhere from $60,000 - $80,00 for consumer class vehicles.

We need to raise this money as soon as possible as our rental from insurance is not accessible and my girlfriend has multiple medical appointments coming up.

Last time we were without a vehicle it cost us $175 return to get an accessible ride service to take us to a single appointment.
