Desperately need a DSLR for 6 years

I was 14 when I developed interest in photography, and now I've crossed 20.

For the beginning 3 years, I practiced with an old digital point and shoot camera my friend had offered me as he wasn't using it, until one day it died due to immense usage.

Due to financial crisis my dad had never agreed to buy one for me since the beginning, as DSLRs aren't cheap to buy.

Now its been 3 years since I've been capturing with mediocre mobiles, and I really don't want my passion to die.

I'm currently pursuing a course that I've least interest in, again, financial crisis, and I literally have dreams to work in the camera industry and for that, yes I need a DSLR for a start.

I have been saving some bucks since 3 years (almost 250$) and no that's only enough for the extras the camera needs.

This almost might look like a begging, but I've not found any other option due to the circumstances and I sincerely seek some funding, a bare $5/person would do great help.
